About the instructors:
Bondage Erotique (Kanso and Blue) have been teaching and performing the art of Shibari across the U.S. since 2012, for students ranging from absolute beginner to advanced practitioner. They approach this sensual, historical Japanese rope art with a passion for the deep connection it inspires in partners, as a means of communication, and a way to explore trust, surrender and vulnerability. They are committed to demystifying the practice of rope bondage by sharing it in fresh contexts: music festivals, art galleries, as a conscious kink, and as a collaborative body modality with AcroYoga.

Ariel and Liz began their acrobatics partnership in 2009; dare we say it was love at first flight? They have trained extensively with world renowned coaches over their years of practice together and have been teaching as part of the YogaSlackers crew since 2011. Motivated by the interplay of strength and receptivity, Ariel and Liz are known for challenging their students with new material in a way that is safe and attainable. Ariel has a Doctorate in Pharmacy and is certified in Ashtanga, AcroYoga, YogaSlackers, Thai massage and Pranassage.
